It has been cleaned out, dried and preserved with Borax and decorated with preserved flowers, ferns and other foliage. I have added eyes. He is nicely displayed with wooden coffin. This is not permanently attached and can be just lifted off. Great addition to any curiosity cabinet display! Also a nice gift for those so inclined! This display is approximately 6 x 6
