These coins were originally minted in Austria in the 1740's most MTT coins are dated to 1780 as is this one. Hard to know actual mint date, but this was collected in the late 1980's. The word "Thaler" became a generic term for a large silver coin. Could be used as a focal pendant and worn from either side. Age: At least 80 years old. Measures 3
