This is a traditional crescent moon Bedouin pendant, purchased from a dealer in Jerusalem's Old City souk. Sinai or Palestinian Bedouin. The crescent moon symbols is often found in Bedouin and Middle Eastern jewelry as a religious and cultural symbol of Islam. This is a nicely sized pendant in good condition. Estimated circa 1960 1970s. 58 grams. 2 bails.
