Vintage G Plan Highboard Sideboard Retro 1960s Walnut Shelving Drawers EB11865A vintage 1960s walnut sideboard unit made by G Plan. This is a very early G plan unit and has lots of great midcentury styling. It has a lovely angle to the sides and really fun chunky handles, as well as a lovely chamfer to the outer edges. Its finished in a black walnut veneer all over and features three drawers, one glazed drinks cabinet and a drop door cupboard. They sit on nice original angled legs. On the main top surface there is a small slightly darker patch and a faint light to ring mark as well as a couple of minor scuffs but overall it’s in good condition

There's some light wear to the fabric and some light marks to the wood

These are double bays which come with 3 uprights and 10 shelves which can be set to any height you want using pins that go through the frame

and three push-to-open cupboards beneath

the nature of the fabric means any general grubbiness to fabric from that continual use is hard to see

There is nice stitching on the back leather and the seat is nicely sprung for extra comfort
