Raven Mini Bentwood BoxBentwood boxes are made from steamed Western red cedar planks. Planks are grooved in three places, steamed, bent at 90 degree angles, and then snugly fitted into a grooved base to create a watertight and seamless structure. Bentwood boxes are unique to Northwest Coast Indigenous cultures and are used for both ceremonial and everyday functions. This box features a Raven crest by Coast Salish artist Shain Jackson.
