This hirz amulet was likely worn as part of a headdress or necklace, and contained verses or favorite sayings from the Koran to protect its owner from evil. Opening loop at top for stringing. Weighs 14. 8 grams. Approximately 1. 8 inches (50mm) across and 1. 6 inches (45mm) top to bottom. Estimated circa mid 1900's. Nice soft patina and wear. Pendant Item 720
