Phlogiellus sp. Rusty leg 1/4”size 1 4 Very uncommon species that has only been in the U. S. a few times in very limited numbers. This species gets a decent size, up to two inches which is quite large for this genus. Fossorial species so be sure to give them dirt to dig in. Still an undescribed species that is native to Cebu Philippines. Super rare !

The genus Guyruita was established in 2007 and means “to go under rocks” that was derived from the language of the Brazilian Tupi Indians

Females are a dark velevet brown color while the males turn a brilliant purple color upon maturity

These never last long when I have them

Similiar to Nhandu coloratovillosus but with thinner bands and a blue-ish hue mostly seen after a molt
