A very ripe yet wonderfully fresh and expressive nose features notes of cassis
The 1959 was unctuous
It is an amazing effort and a great achievement from this incredible terroir

Here the equally brooding nose is slightly more elegant with its cool and restrained nose of red currant
This has all of Noval's typical grace and elegance while the complexity level is nicely above average

which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and usually produces small quantities of less than 300 cases
spice and dried apricot aromas
This isn't quite as floral as the Amoureuses but it's even spicier with its purple fruit
