Antique Victorian Vulcanite Cameo Mourning BroochAntique Victorian Vulcanite mourning brooch featuring the image of a lady with flowers in her hair. The image is raised with intricate detailing. Vulcanite was invested in 1843 by Thomas Hancock. The material combines sap from the Ficus tree with sulphur. The material was moulded not carved.
