Chorda Viola StringsPirastro Chorda strings are natural plain gut strings. Sound is defined as mild projected, warm and subtle. The Standard set is recommended for an A440Hz, we suggest using a thicker gauge for an A415Hz. An A and D strings come as plain, without a knot, while G and C strings have a knot end. The Standard medium set contains the following strings: A plain gut 14 1 2, D Plain gut 19, G Silver copper (silver plated copper unpolished wound on a gut core)
