It's yellow with a faux wood grain finish. The top is flat and there's also a shelf underneath where you can store things. The furniture sets for each room were sold separately, this piece is from the Berry Cozy Kitchen furniture. Although it's meant for the kitchen, it also makes a great nightstand in the Berry
