The stems are in evidence on the intensely floral and spicy nose that also reflects aromas of plum, cassis and pungent earth. There is outstanding power and punch to the medium weight plus flavors that exude a fine minerality on to the austere, structured and lingering finish. This is clearly built to age and will need plenty of it as I do not see this drinking well young. (90 92) 2027+
