The Throne Verse is imprinted on both sides of this Zar amulet. The Throne Verse is one of the best known verses of the Quran and is widely memorized and displayed in the Muslim World and recited to ward off evil. Collected by Rita in Egypt in the 1980's. Circa mid 20th Century. Good condition. Some wear in the middle due to use. Hallmarked. 1 3 4 inches across. 17.
