Chilobrachys sp. “South Vietnam blue” 3/4”size 3 4 This undescribed species from south Vietnam can reach 6 inches as adults. A fossorial species that webs a lot and can be quite defensive. One of the many over looked blue species that is quite affordable as it breeds fairly easy in captivity.

First described in 1994 by Frank Saager

Heavy webbing species with beautiful blue and grey coloration

Then in 2003 Fernando Pérez-Miles & Arturo Locht transferred this spider to the Homoeomma genus

Native to Venezuela

while It’s probably better off if they do stay in their hole since they are so mean

Breeds easily in captivity

This species is sometimes considered communal

This species was originally thought to be a locality of Mastigoproctus giganteus but was later described to be its on species in 2018 Diego Barrales-Alcalá

But once again the name has now been updated by Zeeshan A

These spiders typically reach about 6 inches as adult

Today they are only available as captive bred slings
